LISA FIKES

President & CEO

Lisa Fikes is the President & CEO of the Leadership Center of Arlington (LCA). She began her time at LCA in 2016 by leading the Volunteer Arlington program, a public-private partnership between LCA and Arlington County. Since that time, Volunteer Arlington has grown to partner with more than 250 local nonprofit and County organizations. Through collaborations, capacity training for partners, events, and campaigns, Lisa works with her team to connect individuals, groups, and businesses, along with their passions and skills, to local needs.

Prior to joining LCA, Lisa served as the Associate for Youth and Children’s Ministries at St. John’s Episcopal Church in McLean, Va., for 18 years. During her tenure there, she coordinated a leadership program at a middle school in Washington, D.C., fostering relationships and dual learnings with students and members of the church across social, racial, generational, and cultural distinctions.

With a passion for connecting community members of all ages, inspiring individual development and collaborative community impact, Lisa also enjoys her time on the APAH’s Community Progress Network, Inter-Service Club Council, and the Arlington Chamber’s Community Action Committee.

Lisa is a graduate of Rhodes College and alum of the Leadership Arlington Class of 2019. She and her husband, David, reside in Falls Church and are the proud parents of their daughter, Harper.
